meet the Artist

Heidi is a Michigan native, holding degrees in Metrology and Business Admin. After a long career in quality assurance, she migrated south to Tennessee, where she intended to retire. But life sometimes gets in the way of our plans. While she was there she learned pottery from a multitude of instructors at Mighty Mud Studio in Knoxville, TN before heading back to Michigan to be closer to her family.

Heidi focuses on functional ware and enjoys experimenting with texture and color.

She has set up shop, in her home in Oscoda, Michigan. Her work can currently be seen at the Tawas Bay Art Gallery, Craftmakers Cabin in Harrisville, MI, and at art and craft shows in Michigan. An on-line shop may be available at a later date.
